The journey toward entrepreneurship reached a significant milestone as beneficiaries of the Youth Empowerment Project delivered their final business proposal presentations. Over the course of two days last week, aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their ideas, received constructive feedback, and refined their proposals, preparing for the next stage of their business ventures.

Judging panel
Participants confidently shared their business concepts, demonstrating the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program. Through engaging discussions, the panel of judges provided insights to help sharpen their proposals, ensuring each idea was both viable and impactful. Judges and facilitators assessed each project, offering final guidance on business strategy, financial planning, and market positioning.
The program has not only equipped these young entrepreneurs with essential business skills but has also empowered them to become changemakers in their communities.
This week we celebrate their graduation and the promising future of these aspiring business leaders!
“I truly admire the creativity and passion that everyone showcased in their presentations. Congratulations to those who were selected for their outstanding performances — it was well-deserved! Each pitch highlighted not only innovative ideas but also a commitment to making a positive change. For me, this experience has been invaluable, and I’m excited to continue developing my own project. I’m confident that all of us will continue to grow and contribute to social innovation in meaningful ways.“~ Eddy Kelvin Nemeyimana
“I am honored to be a participant in the fourth cohort of the JESUIT URUMURI Centre. I sincerely appreciate everyone who values youth-led projects. This training has been a transformative experience for my own project, and I believe it will help all of us grow and contribute to social innovation and creativity in meaningful ways—just as our coaches have encouraged us to do.
